KPMG Intern, Tax and Legal

• Law degree in Azerbaijani law (bachelor’s degree is a must, master’s degree is an advantage);
• Law degree from foreign reputable university is an advantage;
• Solid academic knowledge in Azerbaijani law;
• Work experience is an advantage;
• Profound knowledge of Azerbaijani and English language (including legal writing skills). Knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power Point programs;
• Ability to analyse and navigate through legislative acts.

Job description:

• Performance of legal research in various areas of Azerbaijani law;
• Analysis of legislation and involving in projects containing provision of legal advice on various matters;
• Preparation of letters/applications to state authorities/agencies;
• Preparation of e-mail notes regarding various legislative queries;
• Dealing with state authorities/agencies, notaries;
• Legal assistance to the senior team members with performance of corporate registration and de-registration exercises.
